Admin panel → Locations → Add. Enter address (autocomplete) or draw a polygon on the map. Radius: 50 m (a house) to 1 km (a highway). Alert fires when worker leaves the zone during work hours.

Can I bill time per construction project for different investors?

Yes, with the “Project billing” addon (€0.50/user/month). Each investor = a client with their rate. Worker picks the project at start. End of month: per-investor invoice PDF.

What if the worker has no smartphone?

A printed QR in the wallet is enough. The foreman has an Android tablet with WorkTrack Scanner in the truck — worker scans morning and afternoon. No smartphone, no RFID cards needed.

Does the app work in freezing cold (-20°C)?

The app works; the phone and battery are another matter. In winter we recommend a power-bank or a wall-powered Android kiosk. Low temps cut battery by 50% but don’t affect functionality.

How do I bill site travel — is it work time?

Travel from home to the site is NOT work time (unless the collective agreement says otherwise). Travel from the office/base between sites IS work time. TimeHunter has a separate “Business travel” event type that counts toward hours.

Is GPS data secure?

GPS data is encrypted (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and stored only on EU servers (Frankfurt + Warsaw). Retention is configurable (30/60/90 days). Employees have export and deletion rights (GDPR art. 15 & 17).
