What makes construction different
In construction there is no “office” where the worker shows up. There are 5 active sites across the region, an 8-person crew rotating between them, some in the company van, some in their own cars. The foreman’s first morning question: “who’s on which site today?” Second: “when did you actually arrive?” Third: “why doesn’t last month’s report match?”
TimeHunter with the GPS addons helps answer these questions. Start and Stop in the app record coordinates, and the GPS Pro addon stores route points during the session and shows them on a map. The foreman sees the attendance list in the panel: who is working, since when and where they clocked in.

The worker taps Start or Stop in the app and the system stores the phone’s coordinates with the session. The manager sees them in the panel.
Geofence zone
The zone is a radius around a set company location. The panel shows the employee their distance from it and lets them clock in when they are inside.
Daily route on a map (GPS Pro)
During a session the app periodically sends the position. The admin picks an employee and a day, and the route points appear on a map.
Location only during work
The server accepts route points only during an active work session, and the phone shows a system notice about GPS tracking meanwhile.
Time per site — Project billing addon
With the Project billing addon each site (or investor) is a client in the system with its own rate. The worker starts a timer for the chosen client in the app, and at month end the summary shows hours and amounts per client. No more “I logged it on A but you wrote B” disputes.

The worker picks the site from a list and starts the timer. A forgotten timer can be corrected by the manager in the panel.
Amount per site
Client rate × hours, plus surcharges from the catalogue. The client summary can be exported as a PDF.

The manager sees, per employee, work sessions, per-client entries with descriptions and time not assigned to any client.
Offline QR kiosk + photo check-in
A construction site in the forest, LTE “1 bar, 0 internet.” This is where the QR kiosk helps: an Android phone or tablet in the foreman’s van running the kiosk app. Without internet the kiosk queues scans on the device and sends them once the signal returns. The employee app for Start/Stop needs an internet connection.
With the Photo verification addon the kiosk takes a photo of the person at every QR scan. The admin sees the photo next to the record, so “a buddy will punch me in” stops working.
Labor-law compliance — records and rest periods
Construction sites are frequently inspected because the industry has many accidents and a lot of overtime. TimeHunter generates a monthly PDF working-time report per employee (clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, absences, overtime) as the basis for statutory records. The compliance module shows alerts when the recorded working time lacks the 11h daily rest or the 35h weekly rest.
